WHAT IS THE MOST COMMON QUESTION YOU ARE ASKED ABOUT ORGANIZING?
”How/where do I start?” I hear this the most, along with my clients telling me how “overwhelmed” they feel. I answer this by helping them to prioritize a plan. We list the rooms/spaces in a priority order and this helps focus our approach and provides a starting point.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE STORAGE HACKS?
Use vertical space wherever you can and store things together as much as possible. If you zone “like with like” you will minimize losing items and also make it easier to find what you need when you need it.
WHAT MADE YOU REALLY ENJOY ORGANIZING IN THE FIRST PLACE?
I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. My family’s business was building and designing custom homes. Because of this, I was immersed in the design side of living and also saw both of my parents model an organized way of life.
Furthermore, I have always liked to rearrange furniture and make any and every space feel like “home.” So I suppose it was a combination of both nature and nurture.

WHO IS YOUR INSPIRATION?
Definitely my parents, they modeled an entrepreneurial spirit and also provided me with a love for design, architecture, and yes – organization.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO LABEL THINGS?
I generally use a simple label maker, but if I’m doing something more showy then I’ll use my Cricut.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE “MUST-HAVE” STORAGE PRODUCTS?
Turn tables, baskets, and bins are my three favorites.
WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR THING YOU ORGANIZE?
Good question! Kitchens and closets.
Has anything funny or memorable happened to you when you were on a job? Please share!
I feel like I get to spend a lot of time with animals, because most of my clients have pets. Just last week I got to meet two pet donkeys. On another job, a neighbor’s dog was loose and charged at me while I was loading donations into my car. Scary to say the least!
WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU GIVE TO PEOPLE?
Shop intentionally! This is the simplest way to streamline your home. Work to bring home less. Less is more (more time, money, energy etc.)
